Produce I try to have fresh vegetables and potatoes ready at all times of the year, though sometimes we are short in early spring with only a few leeks and cabbages left.

Fruit starts in April with strawberries in the polytunnel through to apples which keep till well into the spring. Rhubarb fills the gap between.

Strawberries start to ripen in the polytunnel in early May and continue outside till early July with over 1kg a day in the mid season. Raspberries start to ripen in mid June and continue till late July. Plenty to turn into jam too. There are also cherries and blueberries in June and July.
